Working with Jake on our wedding day was a dream come true! He was extremely thoughtful in the way he documented our day and overall story. He was so great at directing us to get the best shots and worked perfectly in tandem with our photographer. He made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera and was so easy to talk to. He is also always up for an adventure and even changed his flight last minute to do an Adventure Session with us where we hiked up a giant sand dune! Jake did SUCH an amazing job with our wedding film. Our biggest worry was ending up with a film like every other one out there - slow-moving and focusing on the sentimental things. We told Jake we wanted to hone in on the fun parts of the wedding and--oh my god, we were laughing throughout the entire watch party. He captured all the moments we hoped he would, and he paired the audio and video clips to great humorous effect. Day-of, he was a genuinely fun human to be around, but he never felt too in-the-way either (another fear of ours). If you have any kind of vision for your wedding film, Jake is your guy.

Jake was professional, courteous, patient, thoughtful, worked well with our other vendors, and produced a film that makes me cry with happiness every time I watch it! I was a bit stressed the day of my wedding but Jake was calm and conscious of our needs. Jake was the most easy going but energetic part of our day. Hands down he’ll keep everyone super calm, but when he finds that perfect light, he’ll let you know! We love our wedding film because It feels just like our wedding: a party! When I tell you I watch our film at least once every two or three days, I’m not lying! Jake is hands down one of my favorite vendors we had, and I mean that. From first booking him to receiving our film, he was kind, receptive, and made sure we got everything we wanted. He even stayed a little longer than we had him booked so he could catch our last dance. Truly the best!
